Running out of things to do? Here's a few ideas!

We have now been social distancing for 73 DAYS ! Crazy, I know. During this time, it is really easy to fall into a state of boredom and lack motivation. I have been there myself and understand how it can have such a negative impact on your mental state which is why it is so important to create a good routine and keep yourself busy!

Don't get me wrong, it is completely normal to feel lazy and not want to get out of bed during a time like this, we have never lived through a time like this. We are not used to this "new normal". Do not compare what you have accomplished or have been doing to what everyone else is showing that they are doing on their social media highlight reel. It is so easy to get caught up in that and feel negative about you and your life. However, it is important to implement a few of these things into your daily routine which can have an impact to your day to day;

-Get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep/night

-Wake up at a good time (before noon)

-Hydrate (6-8 cups of water/daily)

-Get active because you love your body!

-Eat breakfast (the most important meal of the day!)

 

To spice things up in your daily routine, here are a few things you can do!

-Homemade pizza and wine night

-Hike trails around you

-Paint by numbers wine night

-Yoga

-Adopt an animal or foster

-Organize your room/apartment

-Workout

-Create a blog

-Read

-Write a book

-Bake

-Cook

-Take up a new hobby (photography, drawing, knitting, film making.. etc)
